Looking for a complete, affordable, high-quality video surveillance system but don't know where to start? That's what we're here for. Introducing the complete R-Series four-channel FullHD 1080p analog turret video surveillance system. Now that may sound like a mouthful, so let's break that down for you.
First and foremost, this system was pieced together from top to bottom with our R-Series line of surveillance products. Our R-Series line is geared toward video surveillance beginners. The products are simple and easy to use, which also makes them more affordable. But that doesn't mean these products are lacking in quality.
These cameras don't have all the bells and whistles that our other product lines have. They are much more streamlined, taking away the features you'll probably never use and leaving you with only the most necessary functions. As a result, we're able to make these cameras more affordable without sacrificing any quality.
These R-Series cameras are built to last, with tough and durable all-metal construction. The user interface is beautiful and intuitive. Even then, if you find yourself getting stumped, our tech team is standing by with lifetime tech support to help you out.
This is a four-channel surveillance system, which simply means there are four cameras, each connected to a central unit called a Digital Video Recorder (DVR). You'll be able to monitor and configure all four cameras using the DVR, either via an HDMI monitor, a separate computer, or your cell phone.
Having four cameras gives you plenty of flexibility when it comes to setting up your surveillance system. It's enough that you can pretty much monitor your entire property, but not too many that the system becomes unwieldy and overly expensive.
With a 1TB pre-installed hard drive, you'll also have plenty of space to store your recorded surveillance footage for a week and a half, or longer if you record only with motion detection.
The DVR in this system is the 4-DVRAHD, which you can find out more about by clicking here.
FullHD 1080p (2MP)
The cameras used in this system have a resolution of 1920 x 1080, or 2MP, which is also known as FullHD 1080p. This is an excellent resolution for analog cameras. The resolution is high enough that you'll be able to record beautiful video with sharp detail day or night. But it's also low enough to maximize your storage space.
In the images above, you can see an example of 1080p video in its full size (left) and digitally zoomed (right). If you click the images, you'll be able to see the full image to get an idea of the kind of detail you'll get out of your cameras.
This is an analog system, as opposed to an IP system. That simply means the video signals from your cameras are directly wired to your DVR, as opposed to connecting to your recording via your network. Analog is the most traditional protocol when it comes to CCTV. These systems have been around for a very long time and they're not going anywhere. That means your system will be reliable and will stand the test of time. Plus, analog products are also very affordable, allowing this system to offer more bang and less buck.
This system comes with all the analog cables you'll need to get your system up and running. You'll have four premade siamese cables, which is a fancy word for "two cables in one." Each siamese cable contains your video cable, which you'll connect to your NVR, and your power cable, which you'll connect to your 12V DC power supply (also included in the system). To make splitting the power between four cameras easier, we've also included a 4-way power supply splitter. Simply plug the splitter into the power supply, and you have four power terminals for your four cameras.
The cameras used in this system are called "turret cameras." These cameras are somewhat of a hybrid between standard bullet cameras and vandal-resistant dome cameras. They offer the compact and attractive durability of a dome with the powerful performance and night-time imagery of a bullet. Turrets are some of the most convenient and beloved security camera form factors available.
In the picture above, you can see a turret camera (left) sitting next to a bullet camera (right).
This particular turret has a 3.6mm fixed lens, an IP66 weatherproof rating, a 65 foot IR distance, and more. Click here to learn more about this camera, or scroll to the bottom of this page and click "Specs" to download the camera's spec sheet.
This system was carefully built with high-caliber products focused on useability and affordability. We wanted to give you more for less so that everyone can have access to a complete, reliable, and high-quality video surveillance system, regardless of budget and technical skills.
We give you everything you need, from the cameras and recorder, to a pre-installed hard drive, to all your cables and power supplies, so that you can have your system up and running in no time.
Whether you're a security professional looking for a new system or a technophobe just wanting a way to protect your home, the complete R-Series four-channel analog turret security system just may be your next step to increasing your home security.
The M2T shoots video at 2MP @ 25 FPS, or Full High Definition 1080p. This FHD resolution (1920x1080 pixels) is pretty standard across many devices. While this isn’t the highest resolution that we offer, it still definitely gets the job done. Unless your situation requires seeing super fine details, you won’t go wrong with this 2MP camera.
3.6mm Fixed Lens
The 1080-THA has a 3.6mm Fixed Lens. That means it’s fixed at one length; it can't optically zoom in and out. The longer the focal length on a fixed lens camera, the more zoomed in it is and the more close-up detail you'll be able to see. But the shorter the focal length, the wider the field of view and the more area your surveillance will cover.
The M2T has a fixed length of 3.6fmm, giving it a horizontal field of view of 87°.
IP66 Weatherproof Rating
This camera has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of 66. This means the camera is completely protected from dust and other solid particles (the first six). It can also withstand powerful streams of water jets from any direction (the second six).
Rest assured that when you install your camera outside, it will have no problem braving the toughest of storms.
65' Night Vision IR Range
When the sun goes down or the lights go out, this camera switches on its own onboard infrared LED lights. These lights, which are invisible to the human eye, allow the camera to continue functioning and recording video 24/7, day or night. And since its IR range covers up to 65 feet, you're not going to miss anything that happens on your camera's feeds, even if it happens in pitch-black darkness.
As a part of our R-Series line, this camera is geared for easier operation. You can even instantly view your camera’s video feeds by scanning the QR code with your phone, assuming your DVR is connected to the network. No activation, no editing IP addresses, no advanced coding or port forwarding. Even if you’ve never touched a security camera before, you’ll be able to figure out the mobile app in no time at all.
Also view your cameras from your computer using the CamViewer application for Windows and Mac.
