Verified PurchaseI purchased this DVR about a year ago and am very happy with it. I installed 12 NSC-TVI1080-DM3 cameras and 4 3.0 Megapixel cameras using self-made Cat5e cabling. Setup was fairly easy even though I was learning as I went. I had a few questions which were quickly answered by tech support who also logged into my network to make some adjustments. I have had no hardware problems over the year it has been in use. The Windows interface was the most troublesome portion of the job, even after tech support logged in and made adjustments. The connection frequently is lost, but it this method of viewing the cameras is rarely used so I haven't tried too hard to solve the problems. The camera images are good, but not exceptional. I believe this may be due to the home made cabling which, in many cases is quite long. I've purchased a few Siamese cables to see if this improves the picture, but haven't yet installed them. I ordered the 3TB hard drive which gives me about 2 months worth of video of the 16 cameras set to motion sensing mode. I do wish the iVMS-4500 phone app was a little easier to navigate. Though I can utilize it OK, my mother-in-law has difficulty logging in and bring up the cameras. Over all, I am very pleased with the system.
