5MP Resolution

The IPC6415SR-X5UPW captures video up to a resolution of 5MP @ 30 FPS, which is 2592x1944 pixels. To put this in perspective, FHD (Full High Definition) is 2 megapixels, or 1920x1080 pixels. Every pixel added to your camera's picture gives you a higher image quality and more detail. So at 5MP, you're going to get a crisper, cleaner, and more detailed image than with your average camera.

Motorized Varifocal Lens

The IPC6415SR-X5UPW has a Motorized Varifocal Lens, ranging from 2.7mm to 13.5mm. This means you can easily and quickly adjust the zoom to your liking directly from the camera’s interface.

The Motorized Varifocal Lens gives you more control over your image. Optically zoom in to view finer details and a tighter 27.9° shot. Or keep the camera zoomed out to enjoy the bigger picture with a 98.3° wide angle field of view.

Wifi Security Camera

Ditch the long, obtrusive wires running across your floorboards and walls. The IPC6415SR-X5UPW allows you to connect wirelessly to your network using Wifi to capture and record video. Wifi security cameras are often easier to install, and they give you greater flexibility for placement and mobility.

2-Way Audio

The IPC6415SR-X5UPW has a built-in microphone and speaker enabling you to easily communicate with family members, pets, coworkers, or even intruders. The crisp, clear 2-way audio makes this camera perfect for access points to your home or business, baby or pet monitors, and so much more!

98' Night Vision IR Range

When the sun goes down or the lights go out, this camera switches on its own onboard infrared LED lights. These lights, which are invisible to the human eye, allow the camera to continue functioning and recording video 24/7, day or night. And since its IR range covers up to 98 feet, you're not going to miss anything that happens on your camera's feeds, even if it happens in pitch-black darkness.

Remote Access

The IPC6415SR-X5UPW is a part of our Uniview line of products. As such, it's packed with features that would please a power user, yet it's simple enough to operate for a novice. Easily view and manage your cameras and recorders anywhere in the world with the free mobile and desktop applications. For the power user, these apps give you the power to adjust advanced settings on the fly. For the novice, you can use the apps to simply view live feeds and play back recorded video. Whatever you need to accomplish, it's all right there at your fingertips.

Plug & Play

If you're creating a new system out of our Uniview cameras, set up is insanely easy with our Uniview line of POE NVRs. Simply plug the camera into the back of the Uniview NVR and you have instant video on the recorder's HDMI interface. You can also view and manage the NVR through free desktop and mobile apps, such as EZView and EZStation.

ONVIF Compatibility

If you want to add this camera to a security system already set up, that’s no problem. This camera complies with the protocols set by the Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF). This means, as long as your current recorder is ONVIF compatible, you’ll be able to set this camera up with your current system.

Hello, this camera seems a very nice product that may potentially satisfy my needs... I have a few questions though:
1. Does the camera "main web interface" (for viewing and use Tilt and Pan features) works only with Internet Explorer browser or is compatible with other web browsers?
2. Is it possible to use software like iVM4500 to remotely or locally configure or view the camera?
3. Can the camera be used without an NVR?
4. Does the camera accept PoE?
5. Can the camera without a NVR be configured to upload FTP videos and pictures on specific event triggered (like motion detection..)

Thank you for your attention.

Here's some answers!

1. Yes it does. It does have a plugin that is supported by Chrome, Firefox, and internet explorer.

2. Since this camera is on the UNV line, it is not supported by IVMS4200. It has another PC software called EZStation for configuring and viewing

3. It sure can!

4. It sure does!

5. Yes it can, this camera supports FTP upload.
Can this "indoor" camera be used under a covered porch?

Typically its not recommended, as even any condensation that could develop would not be covered under warranty since it is an indoor camera.

But if the camera's location would totally be out of the elements, i have seen customers mount other indoor cameras under covered porches. Just definitely be aware of the possibility of any condensation that may develop.
Do you have to log directly into the camera's IP address to use the PTZ controls? What if it's plugged into an H- or R-series NVR? Can the NVR's web interface run the PTZ and set up the patrol routines?

If the camera is added via ONVIF with an H-series or R-series NVR, you can control it from the NVRs stlil and set patrols & such.
This camera will not be plug n play with R-series or H-series NVRs.
