Verified PurchaseJust got up and running and no issues. Good price on them as well

Verified PurchaseThe 4TB hard drive is a solidly built piece of hardware. It is specifically made for full time recording and works well. It was very easy to install following the Nelly's install video. It works great. Glade I purchased it.

Verified PurchaseI purchased a 16-channel HDCVI, 8-camera system. I plan to add four microphones and possibly two more cameras. Given that investment, I chose to buy two 4-TB drives to store all the recording input. The system is set to record on motion-detect. My online research revealed that Nelly's price makes these drives a very good value.

Verified PurchaseUsing with the 7608NI 8 channel and it appears with eight cameras on motion detection I will be able to store around 60 days of video at the second highest resolution setting of 3mp cameras. Four of the eight cameras record about 75% of the time since they have vegetation blowing in the breeze. Easy to use software. Motion detection works well. Many picture adjustment options that allow for fine tuning the camera pictures. Playback is easy. The "lite" versions have so many fewer operational features I found this NVR one to be a better value. Storage can be expanded later with just an additional hard drive plugged-in by the user.

Verified PurchaseJust installed a 7716 nvr with 11 cameras and get excellent playback.

Verified PurchaseI prefer to use Enterprise drives because they typically tolerate 3 to 5 times more workload than Surveillance drives. I wanted 1 total solution so I bought my NVR with 2 included Surveillance Drives, but to be honest there is no real advantage to using Surveillance Drives. They don't have fixed shaft motors and they have a lower MTBF than Enterprise drives. The FW for Surveillance Drives probably offers some specific features for handling video and streaming audio, but in today's climate an Enterprise drive will suffice these requirements.

Verified PurchaseI have 4 cameras recording 24-7 at highest resolution, and I get about 2 1/2 weeks from this drive. I'm not an expert by any means, but it seems to work really well.
-
Verified PurchaseI've had 3 other systems from Costco and Best Buy. Wish I would of stepped up the first time and bought this system.
