64-NVR Connections

The first thing you'll notice about the 64-NVR is that there is no integrated PoE switch. This means you'll have to power your cameras and connect them to your network separately. We recommend IPCamPower PoE switches for this.

• e-SATA: Allows for additional storage expansion by connecting external SATA storage devices, such as external hard drives or RAID arrays, to increase storage capacity.
• 2 x LAN Ports: These LAN (Local Area Network) ports provide connectivity to the local network, allowing for remote access and management of the NVR, as well as facilitating connection to IP cameras and other network devices. • RS485 In/Out: Additional serial communication capabilities for connecting external devices, such as PTZ ckeyboards, for control and communication purposes.
• 16 x Alarm In / 4 x Alarm Out: These connections allow for integration with external alarm systems and sensors. The 16 alarm inputs can be connected to various sensors or detectors to trigger alarms based on specific events, while the 4 alarm outputs can be used to activate external devices or notifications in response to alarm triggers, such as our R-Series external alarm.
• AC100-240V Power: This input port is used to connect the NVR to the power supply (included in the box), providing the necessary power for operation.

Recording Schedules
